Making a difference with Pacific Assist
Supporting disadvantaged individuals, schools and communities here and in the South Pacific
Helping others go further in life
Education is one of our core values at Frontier Financial Group. Many individuals and families in the world lack basic opportunities and resources to reach even modest goals and aspirations. That’s why its Founder, Richard McLean, with his brother John, helped co-found Pacific Assist.
Furniture for Schools
Originally founded in New Zealand as Furniture for Schools, Pacific Assist is a not-for-profit charity committed to improving the education, health and well-being, and economic development of disadvantaged individuals, schools and communities in Australia, New Zealand and the islands of the South Pacific.
Frontier Financial Group is proud to be a key sponsor of Pacific Assist and their life-changing programs.
A seat at the table for a prosperous future
One challenge identified by Pacific Assist was that many schools in the Pacific Island regions lack the kind of basic furnishings that facilitate a comfortable learning environment. Since 2014, they’ve supplied over 125 shipping containers of high-quality second-hand desks and chairs to schools in need in Tonga, Samoa, Fiji, Vanuatu, Kiribati and Papua New Guinea.
You can help. If your school has unwanted furniture, consider donating to Pacific Assist, and help give kids in the South Pacific a seat at the table. To learn more, please visit the Pacific Assist website, or donate via the link below.
